Abstract
This paper estimates the short-run and long-run price and income elasticities of aggregate electricity demand in Namibia over the period 1993q1 to 2010q1. We make use of the bounds testing approach to cointegration within an autoregressive distributed framework, Our empirical results suggest that electricity demand is income elastic, but price inelastic in the long-run.
