Using quantitative methods in research, this article describes the provision of early childhood education in Namibia within the context of inclusive education for all and lifelong learning. Research has shown that participation in early childhood education significantly contributes to a child’s success in later learning. However, the results of the research outlined in this article reveal that although efforts are in place to address early childhood education in Namibia, many children do not benefit from early childhood education, let alone quality services due to a number of factors such as poverty, HIV and AIDS and other special needs. This article formulates recommendations for developing an inclusive early childhood education approach for Namibia.en_US
