| dc.description.abstract | The core objective of this dissertation/thesis is to study the methods and approaches that are involved in the process of privatization and examine its validity in the Namibian context. It is an attempt to reach some policy implications, which might help the Namibian Government to decide upon which stage of privatization to adopt in its efforts to reform the Public service and its state owned enterprises. To achieve the above objectives, the study first examined the theoretical background of both commercialization and privatization in general.
