dc.description.abstractThe study will create a progressive social impact in the management of firms by emphasizing the significance of corporate governance practices on PSEMAS performance. The findings and recommendations of this study could assist the managers in securing prudent utilization of organizational resources by comprehending the variables that influence the PSEMAS' long-term performances. Regulatory authorities could also benefit from the research findings by identifying the important mechanism of corporate governance that stimulate organizational effectiveness and Namibia’s economic growth. Also, the study will contribute to the existing literature by examining the relationship between the variables under study. Furthermore, the thesis study aimed to have raised awareness of corporate governance practices at PSEMAS and their impact on the national resources. It intends to create awareness of the challenges PSEMAS is facing. The study makes a substantial contribution to tackling the long-standing issue of poor governance at the Public Service Employee Medical Aid Scheme, which is regarded to be a result of Namibia's inadequate governance. Finally, this study has scholarly significance because it adds to the corpus of knowledge on corporate governance. 8 The research could contribute to the knowledge and thorough understanding of corporate governance in the public sector.
